Description
PowerCoil wire thread inserts are installed into oversize tapped holes.
STI Taps have a larger diameter, than standard taps, but the same pitch to accommodate the wire thread insert. Once the insert is installed in the tapped hole it creates the desired internal thread tolerance for the installed bolt or stud.
This is a set of 3 taps:
- Taper – 1pc
- Inter – 1pc
- Bottoming – 1pc
Note: It is recommended to use PowerCoil STI (Screw Thread Insert) Taps with PowerCoil Wire Thread Inserts.
